So we all know what we need to do before we start a great day of jumping. We also know what we need to do before each skydive. We’ve learned through experience that the easiest way to avoid an emergency in the air is to spot the problem on the ground. Gear check. Gear check. Gear check.
You’ve done it. You’re a licensed skydiver. You’ve spent the last season (or perhaps even two) working your way through the growing pains involved with starting out in the sport. You’ve either been jumping rental gear and racking up pretty impressive spending habits each weekend, or you’ve cobbled together a decent fitting container, a workable main, reserve, and an AAD with some life left in it. You’re a lifer now, and you know it.

We're excited to announce that Chicagoland Skydiving Center will be getting a huge addition this spring. After more than 2 years of planning and negotiations with the City of Rochelle, CSC received unanimous City Council approval for the construction of a 4 acre family entertainment venue.
Chicago winters seem to get harder and harder to endure every year. We're through the worst of it and there's finally some light at the end of the tunnel. Safety Day is coming up on Saturday, March 16th. We hope you can join us for a fun, educational day of presentations and discussions on the most important safety topics in our industry today. Many of us who have been skydiving for a while need this event to review emergency procedures and discuss any new and trending safety issues going on around the skydiving industry. It's also a great chance for new/newer jumpers to continue their education. Lunch will be served. Afterwards, stick around for a great St. Patty's Day party in the Flight Deck Bar & Grill.
