After not flying since last Saturday due to cool, cloudy, windy weather, we are expecting a very busy next few days. Assuming it clears up today, we will be turning the PAC all day long with a very busy student day. Friday, we will get rolling at 9:30am for our $19 Independence Boogie. The teams will be training along with another very busy student day. We will start off in the PAC and move over to the Super Otter. We have a ton of things planned including two-plane formation loads, big-ways with Rich Madsen & Eric Bickel, wingsuit weekend hosted by Zach Schroedel, RW Mentor Camp with Andy Boyd and CSC Pareto Optimal, live music on Friday night by The Eric Gomez Trio, 18,000' jumps, free pizza on Saturday night, air-conditioned packing, the nicest fleet of aircraft in skydiving, great vibes, and more! $25 registration for the weekend or $10 per day. $18 jumps on Friday and Sunday will not be offered.
Due to transportation problems, we will not be invading SDC on Saturday night. Instead, we will be doing night jumps at CSC. Have you ever seen fireworks from 14,000'? Briefing will be at sunset. We have a huge pile of firewood stocked up at CSC. Come out and join us for a great weekend of skydiving and partying.
Last week, we were fortunate enough to take Larry Baker on his 8th tandem skydive to celebrate his 98th birthday. Special thanks to Jackie Bange from WGN News and Dave Cicciarelli for taking such good care of Larry. We look forward to seeing him next year. Watch the video here.
