Things have been relatively quiet around here as the weather has been working against us for the past 10 days or so. That's not going to be the case this weekend though. The forecast is calling for nearly 70 degrees and light winds today with temps in the lower 60s for the weekend.

Dean left on Monday morning in the Super Otter for sunny Mexico and they have been keeping him busy at the Dia Del Muerte Boogie at Skydive Cuautla. For us here, we will be flying the PAC all day today and a Grand Caravan this Saturday and Sunday. Starting next week, we are only open Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays and the PAC will be here until our last day - November 16th.

After a couple of weekends of trying to get the Fry Fest in, we've decided to try again this Saturday. Stick around for some great food around the bonfire.

Last week was the US National Skydiving Championships at Skydive Arizona. CSC would like to thank and congratulate all of the teams that trained with us and represented our dropzone.

CSC Rhythm XP is the first ever 4-way team to bring the gold medal in advanced 4-way back to CSC. We look forward to building on this in 2009. If anyone is interested in competing next year at US Nationals in Texas, contact us for team training rates.

Sky Team, Inc. is proud to announce the November launch of PROskydiving.com. This new endeavor marks a very time consuming and expensive concept that we have been working on for over a year. We're designing PROskydiving.com to help consumers connect with dropzones anywhere in the US. It has been a very difficult process to design a business model that is not only customer friendly, but easy to use and transparent for the consumer. We don't want to mislead anyone, just help them find a safe, fun place to skydive near them. We are currently building the network of dropzones. I am amazed at how well our concept is being received by dropzone owners and managers. We've heard comments like "I want to be involved in anything that CSC does on the internet" and "finally, someone to do it right". Hearing that gets us even more excited about this new endeavor. Sorry for the inconvenience, but the bathrooms have been winterized and removed for the off-season. In the meantime, we have access to the airport washrooms located in a hangar east of the CSC hangars.

Looking for a way to brush up on your skills? Or just want a break from the cold? Join us at the largest, most powerful wind tunnel in the world, Paraclete XP in Raeford, NC (www.paracletexp.com).

CSC Rhythm XP is organizing a trip to the Paraclete XP Tunnel December 5-7. RW/belly coaching from Rhythm is included in the already discounted camp rates. We have a RW skills curriculum that covers a range of skills, and can tailor our coaching to whatever you'd like to work on most. For experienced flyers or teams, we can also do 4 way, including 2 on 2 or with 3 members of Rhythm and you - please ask for more details. If you want to just take advantage of the discounted rate, freefly, or get other coaching, we can arrange that as well.

Costs:

Option 1: One hour of tunnel time $950
Option 2: 1.5 hrs of tunnel time $1400

Build your own: $240 per 15 minute block

*Costs include tunnel time, video, snacks and drinks and CSC Rhythm XP coaching. If you'd like freefly coaching, or other coaching, it will be at an additional cost, based on the coach. Ask us for details.

Travel:
Flights: Fayetteville is closest, but Raleigh/Durham (RDU) is usually the most convenient direct flight.

How to book your slot:
A $100 deposit is all you need to reserve your slot -- time is limited. Your deposit will apply 100% towards the tunnel cost. Deposits are due no later than November 20th, however the time may book up sooner than that. Please send deposits to:
