Target altitude is 5,000'AGL. A balloon is a registered aircraft so the same FARs that apply to aircraft also apply to intentional jumping from a balloon. This means no base gear. Your reserve must be in date. Please make good choices in respects to the main canopy you jump. You will be landing off the DZ. Most likely there will not be an indication of the wind direction other than the fact that a hot air balloon flies down wind. Wingsuits are welcome. 4 jumpers fit in the basket at a time. The overall process is that load two and three chase load one. Balloon lands and load two goes up, load one and three chase load two. Balloon lands then load three goes up and load one and two chase. Plan on being off the dropzone for up to ½ the day. You won't be able to jump and take off back to the DZ. The pilot will need help packing up the balloon after landing from load three.
