skydive update

It's been far too long since we've posted an update. First of all, we hope that everyone has had a safe and enjoyable holiday season. Things have been hectic here as we finish up the busiest holiday gift certificate month we've ever had. We've also been busy getting aircraft maintenance done and positioning them for the winter months. Currently, Dean is flying the Otter in Lodi, CA and the PAC is at The Jumping Place in St. Marys, GA located just north of Jacksonville, FL. If you're looking for a weekend getaway, let us know...

CSC would like to welcome Sammy Jack to the CSC team. Sammy will be heading up our marketing and promotions from now on. Sammy brings substantial skydiving experience and a formal marketing education to the team. He and his wife, Iva, relocated here from Las Vegas earlier this month and he started full-time on December 15. He hit the ground running and has already done a ton of work for us. Stay tuned for some exciting events both on and off the dropzone. If you have any events in mind or are interested in helping out with any of our off-DZ events, feel free to drop Sammy an email at sammy@PROskydiving.com

Speaking of staff, we are busy adding some new faces to the 2010 instructional and ground support teams. We are anticipating another record season and will be staffing accordingly. We are in a very fortunate position of having more resumes than available jobs allowing us to be very selective.

Below are the 2010 licensed jumper buy-in price prices. Please note that all buy-in rates will fluctuate with our current retail jump price. In other words, if CSC is forced to increase jump rates due to a spike in oil prices, your jump price will increase the same amount. Inversely, if our retail price decreases, your discounted price will also come down. We feel that this safeguards us in the event that oil increases. The average prices outlined below are based on our current retail price of $23.00/jump. Jump packages are due by January 31, 2010. If you are looking to take advantage of the 4 month payment plan, your first 1/4 installment is due by January 31, 2010.

CSC is proud to announce that we are offering the all-you-can-jump PROpass again for 2010. PROpass is for those who seek the most from your experience at CSC. With PROpass, just show up and jump as much as you can. You also get six 1-day "buddy passes" good for 20% off tandem, solo, or experienced jumps (must be a new CSC jumper), 10% off all major gear purchases (canopies, harness/containers, AADs), and a free locker for the 2010 season. All of this for just $3,250! We don't have many restrictions, but PROpass does not cover back-to-back loads. No black out dates, just jump, jump, jump! For details contact customercare@skydivecsc.com to confirm. PROpass price will be $3,500.00 after January 31, 2010. Sorry, no financing available for PROpass.

Keep an eye out for the next step in our PROskydiving project. The next phase in this relatively new endeavor is going to be a big one. We have merged our dropzoneCRS technology into PROskydiving giving customers the ability to book online with real-time dropzone reservation data while making the best reservation system available to PROskydiving dropzones for free. This technology will help skydiving centers streamline their operations while increasing the bottom line - and there is no charge for using it! We are very proud of it and excited about where PROskydiving is headed.

With our extremely busy schedule at the end of the season and a busy winter so far, we had to skip the holiday party. We are sorry about that and will try not to let that happen again. We are working on a big event in January and will get the word out as we finalize the details. We look forward to seeing everyone soon. In the meantime, enjoy your holiday break.
