Tomorrow night, Friday, December 12th is our 7th Annual Holiday Party starting at 8:00pm. We hope you can make it even if it's just to stop in and see the 2008 year-end videos and the awards. We know it's a busy time of year for everyone, but this party is our way of saying thanks to everyone who contributes to the success of our dropzone. It's also a great chance for new jumpers and students to get acquainted. Hotel rooms are available at the Hampton Inn & Suites in North Aurora. After last weeks update, we saw the busiest gift certificate week we've ever had. Special thanks to everyone for that. Let's keep it rolling. Speaking of gift certificate sales, we will be launching our new National Dropzone Connection this weekend. PROskydiving is a comprehensive system that allows customers to locate and research dropzones nationwide and purchase gift certificates securely online for participating skydiving centers. Our little idea quickly ballooned into a 12 month project and millions of lines code. Special thanks to Todd Wolaver who has spent 70 - 90 hours per week of his life on this for the past 8+ months. Below are our 2009 licensed jumper buy-in price figures. For those of you who purchased buy-ins last season, they work the same, with one difference - from now on, all buy-in rates will fluctuate with our current retail jump price. In other words, if CSC is forced to increase jump rates due to a spike in oil futures, your slot price will increase the same amount. Inversely, if our retail price decreases, your jump price will also come down. We feel that this safeguards us from losing money in the event that oil increases at an extremely fast rate again in 2009. The average prices noted below are based on our current retail price of $23.00/jump. Jump packages are due by January 31, 2009. If you are looking to take advantage of the 4 month payment plan, your first 1/4 installment is due by December 31, 2008.
