Everyone here at CSC would like to wish you and your family a safe and happy holiday season. We hope you can join us next Friday, December 14th at our Annual CSC Holiday Party. We'll have music, awards, dancing, and great food. Eric will be cooking. Donations can be made in exchange for food. Proceeds will go to Nick and Amy Sclafani as Nick recovers from his November 2nd motorcycle accident.

Believe it or not, we have been busy putting together an aggressive advertising campaign for the holiday gift certificate season. Considering we haven't marketed much during the off-season before, we are excited to see the results of our efforts. It shouldn't be a tough sale considering our holiday special includes free video with all full-price tandem purchases. We're seeing quite a few people buying these gifts for themselves to save nearly $90! For those experienced jumpers out there, don't forget that CSC SkyBucks are available online too!

Many of you have been asking about our 2008 package pricing. We have been holding out as long as possible due to volatile crude oil futures, but we know that you need to start budgeting for next season. That said, we are excited to offer a totally new approach to pre-purchased jump discounts. Please note that we are no longer offering traditional jump packages as we did in the past. Our new Frequent Faller program is designed to reward those who jump more while allowing you, the customer, to dictate your own jump price based on an initial pre-season investment. The following "buy-ins" are available until 1/31/2008. We are still offering the 4 month interest-free financing option for all packages. Financing payments begin 12/31/2007.

• Hop n' Pop - $15.00/jump

This past Saturday night was another CSC(Chicagoland Social Club) outing. This time, we headed over to Chicago Indoor Racing for another action-packed evening of Doug kicking everyone's butt. I have to admit that there were a few competitors that made me earn it this time, specifically Henrik, Andrew, and Nathan. We had a great race going in the final event! Congratualtions to Henrik and Nathan for winning all 3 of their qualifier events. For detailed results of the gran prix, click here. It was a great evening with over 20 people. We all stuck around for dinner and drinks afterwards in the CIR bar/restaurant. Stay tuned to the events page of the website as Lisa is scheduling events and gatherings every few weeks throughout the winter months.

For those of you who don't know, we offer free custom window wraps for your vehicle. We have over 20 of them on the road now and we would like to see many more. You can choose your own image and integrate it into one of our designs. CSC covers the design and application cost. All you have to do is bring your vehicle to Signs By Tomorrow in Naperville. The Annual CSC Beach Boogie in Puerto Escondido, Mexico is just 3 weeks away. We are all very excited about beach jumps, perfect weather, great people, great food, etc. We'll be sure to give you a detailed report with great photos when we return.

As CSC Rhythm gears up for another aggressive season of training and competing, they've launched a website and asked that we share it with you - www.CSCrhythm.com. Be sure to check out their forums. One of the best things about Rhythm is their commitment to helping others learn about formation skydiving. Tap into this resource, most DZs do not have people so willing to share their knowledge and skills.

The holidays are almost here, keep in mind that we are selling reloadable gift cards in Manifest and the CSC PROshop. Also, gift certificates can be purchased online. Certificates are emailed immediately upon purchase - perfect for you last minute shoppers!

As mentioned earlier, proceeds from the CSC Holiday Party donations will go to Nick and Amy Sclafani. Since our last update, Nick has been moved to a step-down room from the Surgical ICU. They will be reducing his pain medication over the next week or so while removing the the wire that was placed in his jaw during surgery 3 weeks ago. Lisa and I saw him the other day and he is starting to look more like the Nick we all know. That said, he is very combative and uncomfortable. Anyone would feel that way when they have been strapped in bed for over a month. Keep Nick and Amy in your thoughts this holiday season. If able, please contact us and make a donation to help them thru this unimaginable ordeal.

As for Carolyn and me, I doubt we're going to make the fundraiser party as Carolyn's due date is just a few hours from now. If things don't happen on their own, we are scheduled to induce labor by 5:00pm on Wednesday. It looks like this is actually going to happen! We are both very excited (and nervous).
