We have a great couple of weeks ahead of us here at CSC and we hope you can join us. Starting today, $18 Fridays are back for licensed jumpers! Teams are training and the Otter will be flying all day as the PAC is headed to Vandalia, IL to support Archway Skydiving Center this weekend. Don't forget that we also offer $18 jumps every Sunday after 2:00pm. This Saturday is the debut of Plunge & Play. Come out and make some very fun skydives that you will never forget!

It's finally starting to feel like summer around here. The 5 day forecast looks absolutely perfect with light winds and no rain! The weekdays are starting to pick up. $15 to 15,000' Wednesdays are getting busy. This week, we flew 13 PAC loads. Don't forget that Eva Malikova is freefly organizing on Wednesdays too. 10 - 20 loads per day out of the PAC can be expected for the rest of the summer.

Earlier this month was our 12th Annual Skydiving for MS Boogie. The weather wasn't the best for the event, but we still managed to raise over $12,000.00 for MS research. Special thanks to Dave and Ceil Perez who donate countless hours to bring this event to fruition. Also, thanks to everyone who has supported this event for the past 12 years. We are shooting to make next years MS13 our biggest event ever. Water training this Sunday morning at 8:00am. This is our only scheduled water training for the year, so if you're planning to get your B license, join us in the pool on Sunday morning. We are getting ready to unveil our new and improved PROskydiving site next month. We are very excited about where PROskydiving is headed and our network DZs are excited too. We will be offering the most comprehensive web-based reservation system to all network dropzones - for FREE! We developed this system in-house a few years ago and are now merging that technology into PROskydiving so that customers can research, locate, purchase, and schedule their experiences completely online. In addition, DZs will have access to this reservation application to use for their own phone and internet orders giving them a secure, centralized, web-based reservation application to track customers coming in from all sources. I can tell you that our student business increased nearly 50% when we started using this system.

A quick note to remind everyone that CSC will be hosting a RW skills camp the weekend of July 4 - 5. I'll be one of the coaches, and, if we get enough people, I'll try to recruit one of my teammates from CSC Pareto Optimal to help out. We'll break the campers down into groups of between 3 - 6 jumpers of similar skill and experience level, and everyone will stay with the same group for the day. Each jumper will stay in the same exit slot for the day as well. The basic idea is that we'll try to create a more structured learning environment that you might get in an ordinary day of doing organized loads. Video is available if the groups want it. We'll try to commit to 6 jumps per day, complete with ground prep and post-jump debrief. If the group feels good and is having fun, and wants to do more jumps, that's no problem. There is no charge for the camp, other than your jump ticket. If the group wants video, that would be an extra charge.
