We are down to a week before opening day and things are hectic around here. It looks like waiting until early April to open was a good call as the weather hasn't been very cooperative. As of now, the weather for opening weekend looks cool, but nice. The PAC 750XL arrives on Good Friday and we'll be jumping from noon - sunset. For the "official" opening, doors open on Saturday at 9:30am for the unveiling of the new and improved CSC. As I mentioned in our last update, we have many changes happening around here and we are all very excited to show you what we've done.

As for Safety Day, we will have safety related discussions and presentations in the heated north hangar starting at 10:00am. One of the safety presentations will be made by our Master Rigger Dave Mahoney. Among other things, he is going to discuss the Sunpath service bulletin that applies to anyone who is jumping a Sunpath Javelin without an RSL. If so, a Master Rigger must endorse that the removal of that RSL was done properly. Speaking of rigging, Mahoney has got his loft up and running and his schedule is filling up fast. I was out in Davis, CA getting trained up in the PAC last week. After flying over 50 loads, I became very excited about how this aircraft is going to integrate into what we are doing at CSC this season. With light loads, we were seeing climb times of 7 - 8 minutes to 14,000 feet!

2007 RV Options :
We are getting quite a bit of feedback on these mobile units. Again, these spaces are 20' x 8'' rooms that can be used for anything from team rooms to a small apartment on the DZ. We will only be ordering these units as people request them. They will require a full season commitment (April - October) and all units will be parked on the northern end of the RV park (closest to the runway). The nice thing about this option is that there is no need to move it, winterize it, or store it at the end of the season - just pick up your things and we'll take care of the rest. Monthly rent includes full electrical and Internet hook-up. Satellite TV is available as well. If you're interested, please contact Doug.
