It's been over a month since our last update and plenty has happened. The CSC Holiday Party was a big success. Everyone had a great time - some of you had too good of a time! Just a few days after that, several of us were off to Puerto Escondido for the Holiday Boogie. What an amazing event. With over 80 registered jumpers and plenty of tandem students, our Super Otter flew all day long throughout the event.
We saw some old friends and met some new ones. The weather was absolutely perfect throughout entire 10 days with highs in the lower 90s and the evenings cooling off in the 70s. You simply can't beat the white sands, surfing, great weather, friendly people, amazing food, and beach landings!
The New Years Eve Party was even better than last year. Antonio and the Skydive Cuautla gang put on a great party complete with skydiving videos, open bar, and great live Mexican music. After the band was done, our own Ben Jacob hopped on stage and tore it up! As you can see, Jacko and Megan could hardly contain themselves!
As soon as we got back to Chicago, Nathan and I packed up and headed back down to Arizona for two more weeks of military contract work. It has really been an honor working with our soldiers and doing our part to help out. We got back on Friday night and it looks like we will be heading back again sometime in late February/early March.
I am writing this update from 39,000' on my way down to Mexico City again. Tom and I are heading down there for another routine aircraft inspection. We're glad to see that they are busier in Mexico this season, but it increases the number of trips we need to make down here for routine maintenance. I really do enjoy traveling, but I have only spent about 3 weeks at home since the season ended at CSC in November. Luckily, Carolyn is very understanding and Lisa is back in DeKalb holding down the day-to-day operations for CSC and Sky Team Aviation, Inc. Thank you both - I couldn't do this without you!
Don't forget that there is another boogie in Puerto Escondido April 2 - 8. Also, for those of you who want to join us for the boogie next winter, we are setting up a payment plan that will allow you to make monthly payments to cover your airfare, hotel, and jumps. You tell us how much you want to put towards your vacation and we will work out a payment plan that will ensure your vacation is covered.
We are now having a 25% sale on all complete rig purchases. Sale runs thru the end of February and only applies to complete system purchases. Also, we are now a dealer for Matter Clothing.

It looks like the interest-free payment plan for experienced jump packages finally caught on this season. This is our 3rd year offering this plan and it always surprised me how many people chose to pay their packages in one lump sum vs. spreading the payment over 4 months. This year, we are seeing a record number of people financing. In case you forgot, non-financed jump package payments are due on January 31, 2007. Please make sure to have them to us on time.

We are currently negotiating with teams for the 2007 season and would like to finalize all team contracts as soon as possible. 2007 RV Options :
As you may know, CSC has invested quite a bit of time and money into our on-site RV park and we are currently at only about 50% capacity. In 2007, we will be offering mobile apartments for rent. These spaces are 8' x 20' rooms that can be used for anything from team rooms to a small apartment on the DZ. We will only be ordering these units as people request them. They will require a full season commitment (April - October) and all units will be parked on the north end of the RV park (closest to the runway). The nice thing about this option is that there is no need to move it, winterize it, or store it at the end of the season - just pick up your things and we'll take care of the rest. Monthly rent includes full electrical and Internet hook-up.
