Freefall University Student Downloads (Program Information Pages)

This page is dedicated to make downloadable information pages available to our students regarding our Freefall University training Progression method.

After your introductory tandem (Information can be found here about your first time introductory tandem) you will then do two more training tandems in your training progression. A description of what will be taught on your two training tandems can be found here.

If you have not already completed your ground school by this time you will then be required to complete the 4 - 5 hour ground school before progressing further in the program. A student guide outlining some of the information taught in the ground school can be found here. USPA also offers an online ground school that you can go through to be better prepared for our ground school. This does not replace our ground school and you must still attend our training but it is a good tool to help you be better prepared for what you will learn. You can find the USPA online ground school here.

Once your ground school is completed you will then go through the seven levels of our Freefall University training progression with one certified USPA instructor accompanying you on your skydives. Those levels can be found here.

After you have completed your introductory tandem, your two training tandems, and the seven levels of our Freefall University training levels you will then be cleared for freefall self supervision. By this time you have completed 10 skydives. You must do a total of 25 skydives to earn your USPA "A" license.

You must complete five coach jumps with a certified USPA coach accompanying you on your skydives at some time during your next 15 skydives towards your USPA "A" license. The other ten skydives can be solo skydives made without a coach or instructor. Below you can find the criteria for all five coach jumps that must be made with a USPA coach.

Coach Jump 1

Coach Jump 2

Coach Jump 3

Coach Jump 4

Coach Jump 5

One of your 15 self supervision skydives must also be a simulated emergency exit which we call a hop-n-pop. Information regarding your hop-n-pop jump can be found here.

Once you've completed these 25 skydives you can earn your USPA "A" license and then the REAL fun begins.

We look forward to teaching you to be a high caliber skydiver and part of the CSC family.
